The accommodation and facilities have not been inspected by the Association. Inclusion is not a recommendation. We rely on accommodation providers let us know of any changes to their entry, so please bear in mind some of this information may not be up to date. Please check directly with the provider.

The prices should only be taken as an indication and should be checked when booking. EM means that an evening meal is normally available: this should of course always be booked in advance. In the remoter areas make sure in good time that you know where your evening meal is coming from!

There are not many camp sites on the Dales Way, but many farmers will allow small parties to pitch tents. In the interests of good relations with farmers please do not camp without permission. The following camp sites could be useful.

Kate Reed & family at Law Barn, Patton Bridge. We welcome walkers to camp in our beautiful Victorian walled garden (help yourself to an organic tomato if they are ready!) A good flat area for tents and beautiful view. Use the green house to dry your clothes or tumble dryer in the garage. A minutes walk away you will have the use of our downstairs loo and washbasin but no shower. However, if you like, relax under the stars in our bush bath a minutes walk from your pitch. Evening meal, breakfast, packed lunches and bush bath all available if booked in advance. No tent? No worries! We have a basic four berth caravan you can hire for the night and this doubles up as your sitting room/dining area if the weather is up to its usual tricks! Camping £8 per person per night. Facilities provided include simple bunkhouse accommodation, toilet (including shower) and cooking facilities, an eating area and a drying room. Self-catering facilities include cutlery and crockery. Dairy produce, etc, can often be ordered in advance. Sleeping bags may be hired. Overnight fees are about £5 per person per night. There is a maximum of three consecutive nights at any one barn.
